What a wonderfully narrated collection of short stories. Evans’ subtle and insightful stories are less plot driven, yet poignantly examine race, culture, history, and class through relationships in each story.

While I loved the narration and listening to this one, I think I would have appreciated it more if I read it (my mind tends to wander when I listen to audiobooks).
