Milk Fed by Melissa Broder
BOOK 14 OF 2021
RATING: 3/5
Thank you Simon Schuster Canada for my copy of Milk Fed! It was a fast read - I didn’t want to put it down.
Milk Fed is a story about food, sex, religion, and understanding your body. This book follows Rachel, a bisexual lapsed Jew who is struggling with an eating disorder and her relationship with her mother, body and mind. This book has a lot of funny, cringey, makes ya think moments (which I love), so I’m still digesting how I feel about it.
I definitely got My Year of Rest and Relaxation vibes from this book: a quirky & questionable book. I loved Broder's blunt and raw writing, I would definitely check out more of her work!
