Meet the Blogger

Last week I did a #MeetTheBookstagrammer post on Instagram and thought it would be fun to share here too! I've been active on Instagram for over three years and actively blogging for about a year. Like a lot of introverted people on the internet, I rarely show my face.

🌻I’m a communications manager (and love my job!)

🌻I’ve played wordle since the beginning and I’m surprised at how well I handled breaking my 93-day streak

🌻MY DOGS ARE MY LIFE

🌻My perfect Saturday is getting a manicure, eating waffles at Cannon Coffee Co and shopping/browsing at The City and The City Books

🌻I’m a Virgo and to the T

🌻I’m just under 6 ft tall

🌻I’m convinced I’m my library’s most active patron

🌻I’m obsessed with knowing people's coffee shop orders

Last week, I had an in-person meeting with my team and we spent the first hour on icebreakers, specifically bucket list items. It was fun and thought-provoking, especially because when I think of bucket lists or big goals I tend to think more of career or travel goals.

Personal: I would love to one day buy a house (what a sad thing this is now a bucket list item for us millennials)! I also want to read every single book I own (trust me, I've got a long way to go) and have a Little Free Library!

Professional/Career: I've always wanted to run a political campaign, and work in book publishing! I've been chasing the high since watching Younger!

Travel: I'd love to visit where my grandparents came from: Scotland, Austria, Germany, and Ireland.

If I could have coffee with anyone..... it would be Elena Ferrante, and ideally we'd be sipping our coffee in Italy. I have a hard time choosing a celebrity or political figure because I can't imagine myself not being a complete spazz in this scenario, so enigmatic author it is!
