What I read

I read Heir of Fire and loved it!! It's the third in the Throne of Glass series and I find I'm really sucked into the series now. I don't think I'll be able to pace myself with one book of this series each month.

I also read The Candy House which was gifted to me by Simon & Schuster Canada (and also a Libro.fm ALC pick!). I really enjoyed the full cast on audio but MAN this is one of those books where I had no idea what was going on. Found out halfway through the book it's a semi-sequel, companion novel to her other book A Visit From the Goon Squad. It was weird! And just fine.

THIS WEEK'S OBSESSIONS

Reitman's Spring Line: I was in desperate need of a cute spring top to wear at an in -person work event this week. I still haven't done the winter -> spring/summer clothes switchover yet and my wardrobe is in need of a refresh. And I just can't say no to buying new clothes. It looks like small florals are in this season, and I got a cute long-sleeve mock neck floral top (pictured to the right) and a light flowy floral tee blouse. Both pair so well with jeans!

Requesting books for your local library catalogue: I LOVE THE LIBRARY. This week my love is focused on the fact that you can request certain books for your local library to purchase and add to their catalogue. Every book I've ever requested has been approved!!! I love this feature. I wrote a blog post about it earlier this week here.
