Book Review: Wild at Heart by K.A. Tucker
Book: 173
Rating: 4/5
I was so excited to pick up Wild At Heart, the follow up to The Simple Wild (which I LOVED). After Calla makes the decision to move to Alaska to be with Jonah, she struggles with adjusting to her new life and carving out a place for herself in this new small community.
I really liked this sequel. There was some strong character development and I loved the addition of some new quirky characters (the busybody Muriel and curmudgeon Roy). While I felt the first half of the book was slow, the second half was redeeming with Calla building relationships outside of Jonah.
I already read the follow-up novella Forever Wild (spoiler alert: loved it and I think it may be my fav in the series). So stay tuned for that glowing review!
If you're looking for a new romance read, I would definitely check out this series. Bonus: it's written by a Canadian author and fellow GTA-ers will appreciate the Toronto references.
