Book Review: Ghosted by Rosie Walsh
Book: 1/100
Rating: 2/5
Summary: Sarah, 40 and divorced, meets Eddie and their connection is instant. They spend seven days together and Sarah has never been so sure of anything in her life: she loves him. When Eddie has to leave for a long-planned vacation, she has no doubt that he’ll call her like he promised, but then he doesn’t. Sarah’s friends tell her to forget about him, waving it off that she’s been ‘ghosted’, but she can’t. She knows there’s a reason that he isn’t calling her back… and later finds out the startling reason why.
Thoughts: Oof, okay, this book was unfortunately not for me. I think this book was super popular last year so I figured I’d start off the year with a romance that apparently has a big twist. The twist was a little meh, and I really didn’t buy Sarah and Eddie’s love story. We only got little glimpses of their seven days together so I didn’t really understand her obsessive tendencies with him.
I’ve been reading more romances than before and I think I prefer rom-com’s instead of romance dramas. If you’re into romances though, I’d say give this one a chance!
