Book Review: Charlotte Walsh Likes to Win by Jo Piazza
Book: 116/150
Rating: 4.5/5
Charlotte Walsh is killing it in Silicon Valley as a top exec. Frustrated with the results of the 2016 Presidential election and seeing the divide across the country, Charlotte knows if given the opportunity she can make the lives better of Pennsylvanians, and especially women (given the top of the line healthcare, maternity, and childcare services she provides to employees at her company). With her three young daughters, husband, and campaign team in tow, they head to PA.
If you like reading about strong women who challenge the status quo and the old white men who uphold it: this one is for you. I personally *love* reading about women in politics in fiction and I LOVED this one!
It was a quick, charming read with a few twists along the way. Honestly, I can't recommend it enough. It wasn't quite a full five star read for me because of the ending. In a way I liked it, in a way I didn't... but it didn't take away from my experience and how I felt reading the whole book. Be sure to check this one out!
