Audiobook Review: Shit, Actually by Lindy West

Okay, I loved this book within the first 5 mins of listening to it. Lindy and all of her hot takes are hilarious.

Here's the premise: Lindy rewatches some classic “older” movies (Love Actually, Harry Potter, Face Off, for example) and rates them all against The Fugitive (the best movie ever made, according to Lindy). She gives you an overview of the film with her quips on basically how utterly ridiculous some of these plots are and how shitty women are portrayed and treated (which embarrassingly enough, I would not have thought twice about). The entire time I was listening to the book I had a smile on my face and I was laughing out loud every 3 minutes. It is so smartly hilarious.

Use a credit on whatever audiobook platform you use and get this book! This one is 100% one you should listen to. Lindy’s delivery is amazing and felt like i was listening to my best friend tell me how she REALLY feels about a movie.

This one gets 13/10 Fugitive DVDs.
